Brooke and Michael's Wedding

Oh, friends! Do we have some amazing photos to share with you today! This wedding has quickly become a new favorite!! We had the pleasure of shooting Brooke and Michael's "24 Carat" Charleston Black Tie Wedding at the Hibernian Hall in Charleston, South Carolina this past weekend, which was designed by the talented Rachel and Julie Smith from Events By Design, alongside an amazing creative team, and we loved. every. minute. of. it.

The way Brooke and Michael tied in the tones and textures of the southern charm with their "24 Carat" theme was timeless... from their custom invitations to their monogrammed cake brushed in gold by Jim Smeal... fit so seamlessly with one of Charleston's most historic venues. They really figured out how to create the perfect wedding, and it was so clear they put so much care and heart into each and every decision.

Details, and decor aside, Brooke and Michael were the real reason we had been looking forward to this wedding for so long. They are such a class act. So kind, so loving, so perfect together. We adore both families.

Brooke and Michael, we love you guys! We love your families. We love your love. From the moment we sat down at your kitchen we couldn’t wait for this day to come. You two are kind beyond words and joyful beyond belief. Those two things alone made it an honor and pleasure to serve you all day, every step of the way. We’ve been giddy about pressing “Publish” on this blog post, because we have so many new favorites and we love the thought of you two sharing a moment on your honeymoon, reliving these moments, in a bungalow in the middle of paradise. We love you to Nevis and back! We hope you love your memories as much as we loved documenting them for you.
